About this role:

Salary Range: $29.66 - 30.00 per hour
Employment type: Full Time, Permanent role
Hours of Work: Monday to Sunday - at least 30 hours per week, not more than 60 hours per week
What youll need to succeed:
- Honest, reliable, hardworking with a "can do"attitude and willing to learn
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy/open plan kitchen.
- Passion for the industry
- No work experience as Cook is required
The role will include, but not limited to:
- Preparing, Cooking and Seasoning Chinese food according to customers order including their dietary requirements
- Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment
- Portioning food, and create decorative food displays by adding sauces
- Assist to decide menus and ordering material with the other staff
- Stock control and minimize food wastage
- Check and maintain proper food holding by handling, storing, and rotating all products properly and refrigeration temperature control points.
- Cleaning and maintaining a hygienic work environment at all times
- Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurants recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards
