Northrop Grumman is seeking an Operations Manager. Position is located at Nellis AFB .
The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing/leading a team in the planning, development, execution for Aircraft Simulation training. We provide the VTTC - Virtual training and test with High End Advanced Threat Training and Tactics scenarios . Will brief senior level officers on current / future training initiatives. Participate in Business development for capture opportunities at Nellis AFB .
The Virtual Test & Training Center (VTTC) Operations manager will oversee all VTTC-Battlespace operations activities to include testing and training events. Additionally, the Ops Manager will oversee exercise training scheduling, training execution, provide staffing projections and assist with Program Growth.
- Assisting team members with career development
- Semi-annual performance assessments of your team members
- Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new staff
- Approval of timecards and other similar administrative tasks
- Workload management for direct reports
Basic Qualifications:
- Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance with SCI and SAP eligibility
- Bachelor's degree with 8 years experience or a Masters with 6 years of experience or High School diploma / Equivalent with12 years of experience may be considered in Lieu of degree
- Familiar with Military training programs
- Proficient in MS Office applications to include PowerPoint, Excel & Word
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10 years operational experience in Air Force flight operations
- Experienced with any of the following: Fighter Pilot, Weapons System Officer, Electronic Warfare Officer, Air Battle Manager of Weapons Director
- Operationally relevant experience within 5 years
- Knowledge of with AFTTP 3-1 guidance
- Experience with Combat Air Forces DMO exercises and simulation events
- Project Management Professional certification
- USAF Weapons School Graduate/Instructor
