Role Purpose:
A Threat IntelligenceAnalyst is responsible for gathering and analyzing information about potential and actual cyber threats,andforprovidinginsightsandrecommendationstohelporganizationsprotectagainstthosethreats.

Key Accountabilities of the role
Monitor and analyze threat intelligence data sources, including internal and external sources, to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities. Conductresearchonnewandemergingcyberthreats,includingmalware, viruses,andhackingtechniques,and recommend strategies for mitigating those threats. Analyze security incidents and recommend actions to prevent future incidents. Create and deliverthreat intelligence reports and briefings to management and other stakeholders. Maintain a current understanding of the threat landscape, including the tactics, techniques, and procedures used by threatactors. Collaborate with otherteams within the organization, such as security operations, incident response, and risk management, to develop and implement security policies and procedures. Stayup-to-datewithindustry trends,bestpractices, andnewtechnologies relatedtothreatintelligence. Hypothesizes new threats and indicators of compromise. Uncovers and implements innovative approaches to address inefficiencies in security monitoring processes. Creates cybersecurity measures and control plans to protect against unauthorized exploits.
