Job Overview:
- Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the supply chain activities including planning, procurement, inventory management, and logistics.
Job Responsibilities:
- To coordinate and negotiate with internal & external parties (customers / supplier & freight forwarders)
- Daily shipment arrangement (PO generating / sending, SAP input, sailing schedule arrangement / Invoice & BL checking)
- Supplier and customer management (Order backlog & Forecast management)
- Inventory control (For temporary & BCP stock)
- Cost Analysis (Awareness of cargo cost and logistics cost)
Job Requirements:
- Possess a Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management or its equivalent
- Candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant working experience
- Having knowledge in Import / Export (Incoterm / Invoice & packing list)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
