Job Role: Operations Manager
Location: Dubai, UAE
Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday) from 09:30-17:00.
Salary: AED 20,000 – 30,000 per month (commensurate with experience)
Start Date: September 2023
The Role:
The ideal candidate will have an ability to create and maintain an efficient system of operation to support the business’ needs. The candidate should be comfortable multitasking, handling client accounts, and working cross-functionally with different business units within the organization.
The ideal candidate must be able to maintain positive relationships with clients and ensure their satisfaction with the company's services. The main client account that they will handle involves Retail and Horeca activation management, therefore previous experience in these areas is a must; preferably having worked in a managerial position with experience leading a team.
Responsibilities:
- Confident in leading a team and overseeing their activities.
- Handling of client accounts
- Managing of stocks, inventory, and uniforms for activations
- Preparing weekly reports with feedback for client team
- Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors, suppliers, and customers
- Ensuring regulatory, compliance and legal rules are followed
- Managing project budgets to align with goals of the business
- Creating and maintaining an organized project schedule
- Liaising with the modelling department to screen potential candidates for project work
- Supporting the design department with creative development
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role (preferably in retail and Horeca)
- The ideal candidate should be below 35 years of age
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong multitasking capabilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Be prepared to work beyond normal office operating hours during project activities (i.e. weekdays and weekends)
- Comfortable working with multiple departments within the business (i.e. Retail & Horeca project activations, creative development, and modelling departments)
- Must have a Driver’s License and car as the job role requires regular commute to different locations where we hold events and activations
