This position falls under the HU team New Economic Research and Education (HU team NEOO). It is a broad collaboration that works multidisciplinary and cross-functional for the realization of the new economy, which moves from a purely financial model to one that takes into account people, planet, and environment: multiple value creation. What will you do?
As a senior researcher(0,8 - 1,0 fte) you will work at least 60% at the Knowledge Center Digital Business & Media and start in the Marketing & Customer Experience lectorate. Additionally, you will translate the research outcomes into education and be involved in the Institute for People & Business, which includes the bachelor Business Administration. You will work closely with the entire HU team NEOO, and we ask you explicitly to look beyond the boundaries of the traditional research disciplines and programs.
Your responsibilities include:
- Research: conducting, supervising, and publishing research on values-driven management.
- In-depth research theme: analyzing the needs of the relevant societal field and translating them into contributions to the research program aimed at educational development and innovation.
- Contributing to the vision formation of the lectorate Marketing and Customer Experience and acting as an expert on the research line values-driven management.
- Knowledge development, distribution, and impact: Encouraging the development and production, dissemination, and circulation of knowledge. Disseminating knowledge of the own field of expertise in media and advisory assignments;
- Collaboration with the environment: Maintaining and expanding (inter)national contacts with the professional field at all levels.
- Contract activities and acquisition activities in the field of research: recruiting clients based on analyses of societal needs and performing contract activities (or having them performed).
