HP Senior Channel Compliance Investigator
Performs partner and internal program audits to ensure the HP Channel Business Compliance. Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives using advanced analytics. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process. Exercises independent judgement within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.
Responsibilities:
- Leads the investigation and data analysis for complex audits regional scale
- Ensures appropriate case documentation (i.e. briefing document, evidence documentation, working file, etc), tracker updates, record of all activities performed on the case and the documents obtained (record retention) are managed timely and accurately
- Utilizes standard project management and quality improvement methodologies in the audit process improvement approaches
- Assesses initial indications of contra mis-use risk or policy non-compliance
- Confirms and quantifies non-compliance, associated trends, and impact on HP
- Identifies root causes & simplification opportunities
- Improves non-compliance rates and monitors effects
- Communicates audits status, process standards and changes, and issues and workarounds, clearly and succinctly to business and operations support team
- Collaborates with operational teams and business stakeholders to gather business requirements, supporting the design of new or improved processes of moderate complexity, and understand business/customer impact
- Represents the needs of the business or function during complex process improvement projects
Education and Experience Required:
- First-level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.
- Certified Auditors preferred
- Typically, over 5 years of audit experience
- Typically, 6-10 years of related experience in IT/business operations.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication skills (i.e. written, verbal, presentation), leadership and influencing skills. Mastery in English and local language as well as other languages as required.
- Strong knowledge of process area, experience with process improvement projects and ability to provide suggestions for process improvements
- Strong project management skills such as planning, execution and implementation, problem solving and analytical skills
- Basic financial and business acumen
