The client requires COVID vaccination to work on-site.
Summary/Responsibilities:
- Performs a variety of mechanical prototypes, prototype assemblies, final assemblies, and finished devices.
- Works from diagrams, drawings, work instructions, SOPs, and by GMP regulations.
- Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed.
- Brings abnormalities to the attention of supervisors in promptly conducting quality inspections on the processing line in accuracy specifications.
Major duties and responsibilities:
- Assemble components into medical devices to manufacturing procedures.
- Utilize small hand tools, calibrated instruments, measurement equipment, microscopes, and test fixtures.
- Perform in-process quality checks on sub-assemblies and finish products. products with engineers and technicians to resolve line issues and suggest improvements.
- Maintain clean room integrity via proper gowning techniques and adherence to clean room environment practices and procedures.
- Complies with Standard Operating Procedure requirements.
- Meets quality standards and performs basic measurements.
- Completes documentation in an accurate and comprehensive manner
- Adhere to general safety rules, manufacturing procedures, company policies, procedures, and FDA regulations.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area.
- Safely performs duties while adhering to safety policies.
- Cross-train new team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and ability required.
Education and Job Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent, preferred.
- A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in the medical device industry is preferred.
- Ability to utilize basic math skills.
- Ability to use pin gages, digital calipers, snap gages, and digital micrometers and able to determine Min Max of dimensions
- Ability to work well under pressure and to meet multiple and occasional competing deadlines while maintaining a cooperative working relationship with other employees and supervisors.
