Key Account Manager – Commercial (Bulk) Sales
Circle K Ireland are recruiting for the role of Key Account Manager.
Reporting to the Senior Key Account Manager, the KAM (Key Account Manager) is responsible for the acquisition, retention, and account management of a portfolio of the Circle K Bulk Fuels Business. The KAM will be predominately involved in the sale of Diesel, U/L, Kero, Gas Oils & HVO into the Irish Reseller market. There will also be a substantial portfolio of end users across different sectors.
This role is part office, part field based, therefore a full cleans drivers’ license is mandatory. This is a full time, permanent position.
Some of the responsibilities:
- Maximise the full sales lifecycle and profitability of a designated customer portfolio, which is made up of large, complex accounts with significant business volumes.
- Achieve and exceed strategic and operational KPI’s in a high performance and competitive environments.
- Promote the Circle K Commercial Bulk business through effective networking, selling and account management behaviours.
- Develop and maintain best in class customer relationships – both long standing existing customers and identifying new opportunities for growth.
- Fully responsible for all negotiations and tender processes at acquisition or renewal stage with customers.
- Accountable for all administration associated with account management, working closely with the sales and sales support functions.
- Execute sales strategies and drive sales results by coordinating activities across the sales department.
- Make effective data-based decisions, understanding customer activity through support systems.
- Need to be able to produce and analyse customer Economics, so proficiency in Excel skills would be required.
The Person:
- 5+ years’ experience in competitive B2B sales environments, with a proven track record of success.
- Experience of working with and effectively managing multiple large accounts simultaneously.
- Be a team player, challenge the norm and achieve results through open and two-way negotiation processes.
- Have the flexibility to visit clients nationwide, building market leading customer relationships.
