We are looking for an experienced, reliable and motivated Field Scoper/ Supervisor with a proven track record in a similar role to take on this fantastic opportunity!
The Company
Mirait Technologies Australia is a leader in the Telecommunications, ICT and energy infrastructure construction and maintenance space. With a focus on delivering superior outcomes to our customers, we are looking for an experienced Field Scoper/ Supervisor to join our team.
The Role:
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating site construction activities and supervising sub-contractors to successfully complete assigned work safely, on schedule, within budget and as per contractual requirements.
In this role you will:
- Scope and develop technical sketches, mud maps, designs, SOWs within specifications.
- Provide technical assistance in development of BOMBOQ’s, work methods, and other documentation to inform customer quotations/tenders as required.
- Effectively supervise to prevent non-conformances and possible rework;
- Have full knowledge and control of the current and scheduled (planned) work, their scope, locations, nature, resource allocation, availability of materials, plant, equipment and tools, to have full knowledge of the respective timelines and deadlines.
- Promptly address issues on site, attend site/s as necessary to physically assess the issue/s and make educated / informed decisions
- Set and maintain a daily routine by which the Supervisor tasks are undertaken and maintain a diary for documenting the work activities on the project, document the expected daily routine and the pursuit of the work plans;
- Ensure to document any information that is necessary to be recorded or has evidentiary value for the management of the project/s.
- Ensure full compliance with all the HSEQ and contractual requirements, to support Project Managers to deliver project outcomes for the client.
You:
We are looking for people who are experienced, reliable, self-motivated and who possess strong communication, organisation and leadership skills.
To be considered for this opportunity you will require:
- Considerable experience working in a telecommunication, network asset relocation, construction or project environment;
- Demonstrated experience working across both Telstra and nbn preferred;
- Experience in the frontline supervision of Contractors;
- Strong coordination and communication skills;
- Strong safety culture;
- Relevant Industry Accreditations and general construction induction (White Card)
