About the role
We are seeking a solution and result oriented Service Engineer to strengthen our Marine field service and commissioning team in Finland. As a Service Engineer your responsibilities are preventive and breakdown services of HI-FOG water mist fire suppression systems globally. The role requires travelling around 160 days per year mainly in Europe and in USA.
This position reports directly to the Service & Aftermarket Manager - Finland, Marioff Marine, collaborating with the Service & Commissioning Engineers from different service teams in Finland, Italy, Singapore, USA and China.
Key responsibilities for this position include
- HI-FOG® system service
- Reporting & documentation of services
- Travelling mainly in Europe and USA
To be successful in the role you need to have
- Vocational school education or higher
- Experience in mechanical or electrical engineering field with installations and maintenance
- Willingness to travel frequently
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills both in Finnish and in English
- Great communication skills and customer orientated attitude
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Good MS Office skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Experience
- Automation systems and installations
- Marine industry
- Experience from HI-FOG systems
- PLC expertise (Siemens / Mitsubishi)
- Life Saving business
