Marketing Technology Specialist [Sweden]

one part IT geek and one part integrated marketing expert. You are this hybrid professional that straddle the fence between both worlds, which today are really one and the same. You are the specialist that serve as a crucial link between Marketing and IT and must understand not only the practical applications of the marketing craft but the technology we now use to make it happen.

What will you do?

The Marketing Technology Specialist is a skilled professional that helps eliminate marketing and technology silos, and improve deployment of new technologies to increase customer engagement in all digital channels.

Sample tasks and responsibilities are:

  • Strategy development and implementation of marketing efforts to improve business.
  • Change management, including implementation of new marketing technology rollouts.
  • Establish and educate on efficient processes using marketing software.
  • Overseeing marketing intelligence and providing actionable insight to internal stakeholders.
  • Serves as super-user and product evangelist for a variety of digital tools.
  • Lead development projects, working closely with IT developers
  • Oversee data security and product enhancement
  • Relationship management with internal technology users and vendors
  • Translate data into easy-to-understand reports

To be our dream candidate you…

  • Have 5+ years of experience working in a similar role in an international company
  • Have a documented successful track record of achieving high sales/exposure goals
  • Are experienced in working in matrix structures and in cross-functional teams with different stakeholders
  • Have in-depth knowledge in a variety of digital marketing tools, e.g.
    • Content management platforms (WordPress CMS)
    • Customer relationship management platforms (HubSpot CRM)
    • Experience management software (XM/CX)
    • Email marketing tools (HubSpot)
    • Analytics and tracking software (Google & Siteimprove)
    • Project management tool (Wrike)
  • Have a university degree e.g from IT/Systems Sciences, M Sc in Marketing, Engineering or similar
  • Are fluent in English, written and verbal communication, additional languages are strongly meriting

You are self-propelled with an analytical mind that you use for problem solving and to get from creative and visionary to results. You also need you to be structured and with an eye for details. Marketing is a support function, meaning you need to be service-minded, have strong listening skills and a documented good track of building lasting relationships, skills and a strong will to deliver results. You love to win - but as a part of a team – and have a WE before ME mentality.
