The purpose of the Employee is to optimize and improve process of the Medical Information inquiries management
Responsibilities
- Ensure that the Medical Information responses are performed following Sanofi global policy and national requirements
- Respond to unsolicited requests for information on Sanofi products from HCPs, Internal associates utilizing accurate, complete and fair balanced evidence
- Handling of the local database of standard responses to respond to unsolicited medical enquiries
- Identification of potential adverse events and product technical complaints. This information should be forwarded to Patient Safety or PQC on the same date of receipt. Upon such recognition, those inquiries are handled under appropriate SOPs
- Coordinates the creation of and maintenance of up-to-date standard responses by regulatory and compliance requirements
- Within own area of responsibility, ensures that response to unsolicited questions/inquiries regarding off-label information is only communicated on behalf of the company by scientifically trained personnel. Any response must be based on objective scientific data presented in a balanced manner
- Ensures that Medical Information Database is up-to-date
- Monitors on the compliance with copyright law and payment for distribution of articles
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of Sanofi therapeutic areas and products
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of library facilities, information retrieval systems and information technology
- In line with the self-development plan and under the guidance of the Head and self-development in the above areas
- Takes an active role in monitoring the performance of own objectives, determines own goals and priorities to be in line with Company targets; demonstrates company values.
- Medical information support with escalations arriving from Iran and Levant Medical Information QD management for the mentioned territories
- GMI system support for the Levant and Quality control of local MI tracker in Iran (as they do not have the system implemented)
- Collaboration with stakeholders (Medical, PV, QA) in the mentioned territories in regards to MI support activities Insights generation and metrics/KPIs control for the mentioned territories with further delivery to key stakeholders (please see above)
- Risk mitigation activities for the territories (audits and inspections)
- Local teams support and development to ensure the teams are performing at the expected levels of MI competencies and behaviours
- Liaises with internal and external groups on handling of medical information requests related issues where applicable and maintains effective working relationships with all stakeholders
- Ensures training of all Company staff on Medical Information requirements as required by their role and the importance of compliance with reporting procedures.
- Initiates new projects to support Company functions relating to medical information issues
Requirements & Qualifications
- 1+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience in the same position in the Medical Department, clinical experience
- Medical Doctor (MD) degree is preferred
- Knowledge of company products and allocated therapeutic areas
- English & Turkish fluency
- Good computer and database skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoints)
- Knowledge of regulatory environment, international and Russian legislation and other documents quality overview regulating on medical information area.
- Excellence in oral/written communications skills, including a good understanding of medical writing and rapid adaptation to changes
- Oriented to HCPs‘ demands
- Ability to analyze and organize the big amount of the scientific information
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to perform monotonous work, attention to detail: repeated actions to achieve success and overcome difficulties; ability to check self for mistakes in correspondence and reports
- Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work to global standards
- Building partnership and working relationships – the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team
Terms of employment
- This is a 40 hour per week (8 hours a day/ 5 days a week) full-time position,
- Doesn’t have people management responsibility.
